Greenville, Victor R. Ferreira, 69 of Pleasant View Circle passed away Wednesday in the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. He was the husband of Laurie A. (Fox) Ferreira. Born in Cumberland, he was the son of Mary C. (Rodrigues) Ferreira and the late Joseph B. Ferreira. Mr. Ferreira resided in Greenville 42 years. He was employed by the US Postal Service until his retirement last year. He was a US Air Force veteran serving in Vietnam. Beside his wife and his mother he is survived by his son Joel V. Ferreira M.D., his wife Laura, and grandson Ryan Joseph Ferreira all of West Harford, CT. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling hours will be held on Saturday morning from 8 to 11 AM.
