Dear Parishioners and Friends:
We are saddened to announce the passing away of Theodore Michalopoulos, 79, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 16,
2021, in the Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Penny (Stergioulis)
Michalopoulos. They have been married for the past 53 years.

Born in Kalamata, Greece, he was the son of the late Efstathios and Katerina (Thanopoulos). Teddy came to this country in 1969 settling in New England.

He was an avid sports fan and loved his Western and classic movies.

Along with his wife, he leaves his two loving children, Katerina Ortiz and her husband Omar Ortiz of
Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and Steve Michalopoulos and his wife Laura Michalopoulos of Mission Viejo,
California; two sisters, Fay Michalopoulos and Tasia Georgopoulos both of Athens, Greece; two brothers,
Nikos Michalopoulos of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and Mike Michalopoulos of Manchester, New Hampshire;
five grandchildren, Teddy Michalopoulos, Taso Michalopoulos, Cecelia, Noel, and Nickolas, along with many
nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Athanasios Michalopoulos.

Teddy's Life Celebration will be held beginning with Visiting Hours on Sunday November 21, 2021 from 5pm to
8pm in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Funeral Service will be
held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 10am in the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church,
97 Walcott Street, Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Romanian Orthodox
Cemetery, Mendon Road, Woonsocket, Rhode Island.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 97 Walcott Street Pawtucket, RI 02860.
