CUMBERLAND,

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan L. Salinger, 61 of Cumberland on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

Born in England, she resided the majority of her life in Cumberland and Central Falls, RI. She graduated from Cumberland High School and was employed by the Grandview Nursing Home.

She leaves behind a son, Michael Salinger, of Cumberland with whom she resided, a brother and his wife, Steven and Lori Salinger of Hebron, CT., as well as a nephew Sean Salinger of Bradenton, FL (wife Jenna), and 2 nieces in CT., Shannon Wagner (husband Kevin) and Shaela Salinger (JD). She was predeceased by both parents, Sheila and Charles R. Salinger Jr. as well as numerous relatives in England. She was also the proud godmother to Shaela Salinger.

Susan loved her family fiercely, especially her son Michael. He was her pride and joy and he was a devoted son that attended to her medical needs as her health failed. The last big family event that she attended was the wedding of Shannon (Salinger) and Kevin Wagner. Her love of family was so strong, she would not miss attending that wedding and her spirit was on that dance floor. In addition, she loved animals of all kinds and had a variety of pets over the years. She enjoyed vacationing on Cape Cod in Falmouth, MA

Susan had an amazing soul and she left this earth too soon. She will be sorely missed.

Susan's Life Celebration will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
