Robert Bruni, 87, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022 in the Holiday Retirement Home, Manville. He was the husband of the late Claire M. (Demers) Bruni.

Born in Lincoln, he was the son of the late Bruno and Virginia (Mei) Bruni. Bob resided in Cumberland for the past 18 years, previously residing in the Albion section of Lincoln for most of his life.

He was an avid bowler and golfer.
He was a member of the 102nd Air Control Squadron.

Bob was employed by the RI Air National Guard for more than 40 years, attaining the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. He was deployed during the 1961 Berlin Crisis, Vietnam and Korean Wars.

He is survived by his daughter; Lisa Bruni of Cumberland. His brother; Ronnie Bruni and his wife Yvette of Manville and sister; Norma Comastra of Lincoln, along with several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his dear friend Elizabeth Burdick of North Smithfield. He was the brother of the late Nancy Medeiros.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Bob's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Monday, May 2, 2022, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM in the St. Ambrose Church, School Street Albion. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. James Cemetery, Lincoln.
