Cumberland Lynn Coulombe-Newsome, 52, of High Ridge Drive passed away Friday, October 10th in Bloomdale, OH. She was the wife of Gary A. Newsome. They were married on September 19, 2008. Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Mary L. (Bogetti) Coulombe. She resided in Cumberland for most of her life. She had been previously employed by School One as a teacher and counselor, Shore Educational Collaborative, Algonquin Regional High School, The Chamberlain School as a counselor and aministrator, and most recently, Cedars Academy in Delaware. A Cumberland High School graduate, she attended Franklin Marshall, Clark University, and Rhode Island College, where she received her graduate's degrees in Psychology, and Counseling. Lynn was an avid photographer and traveller. Besides her husband she leaves one daughter Merideth Izzo of West Warwick. Her funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:30 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. Relatives are kindly invited. Calling Hours will be held Saturday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.Burial will be private.
