CUMBERLAND

DONAHUE, Daniel R., 66, of Cumberland passed away Friday, April 12, 2019 after a long illness in the Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Providence. He was the husband of Christine S. (Lima) Donahue.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late John and Ursula (Kerwin) Donahue. He was a life-long resident of Cumberland.

Mr. Donahue was employed as an Inspector for the Fiber Innovations Company for many years., previously employed by Texas Instruments.

Dan was an avid New England Sports fan. Those who love him will always remember his humor, his love of his Irish Heritage, but most of all his love for his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, Daniel R. Donahue Jr. of Cumberland and Christopher J. Donahue of Pawtucket; his siblings, John F. Donahue of Pawtucket, Patricia A. Figuerado of Pawtucket, Michael J. Donahue of Cumberland, and Robert H. Donahue of Pawtucket; his eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Dan's Life Celebration to be held Tuesday, April 16, 2019 with Visiting Hours from 5 to 8 PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 PM.
