PAWTUCKET

LAPRE, Yvette, 81, formerly of Lincoln, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the Grandview Center, Cumberland.

Born in Lincoln, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Sylvina (Legasse) Lapre. She resided in Pawtucket for the past 31 years, previously residing in Lincoln.

Ms. Lapre was a devout Catholic and communicant of the St. Theresa Child of Jesus Parish, South Attleboro. She was also a participant at St. Theresa faith sharing group.

She leaves her sister with whom she resided, Elaine Gagnon of Pawtucket, her sister, Claire Foisy of Cumberland and her brother, Ernest Lapre of Connecticut; she also leaves many loving nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Leo Lapre, Rita Perry, Clarence Lapre, Theresa DuBreuil, Anita Houle and Janet Descoteaux.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Yvette's Life Celebration to be held with a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 10 AM in the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, South Attleboro. Burial will follow at the St. Ambrose Cemetery, Lincoln.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Catholic Charity Fund.
