William R. Lowe Jr., 75, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. He was the cherished husband of Nancy (LeBrun) Lowe, married for the last 53 years.

Born in Needham, MA., he was the son of the late William R. Lowe and Elena (Miele) Lowe. Bill resided in Cumberland for the past 45 years, previously residing in Boston, MA.

Bill was the Director of Internal Audit for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston for 28 years until his retirement in 2007.

He was a member of the Cumberland Beagle Club.

Besides his wife, he leaves his sons William of Ewa Beach, HI., David of Hopkinton, RI., Gregory of Cumberland and Kevin with his wife Nancy of Lincoln; his sister Janice Simmons of Roslindale, MA, and his grandchildren Addison and Mallory Lowe.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Bill's Life Celebration to be held on Tuesday, November 1st from 5 PM to 8 PM and continuing on Wednesday, November 2nd, at 9 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland. A Christian Burial Mass will be held at 10 AM in the St. John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road Cumberland. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Dover, MA.
