CUMBERLAND

“

Wendy found happiness in life's simple pleasures.

Wendy Ann (Turgeon) Woods, 61, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the beloved daughter of Roger and Kathleen (Rabau) Turgeon of Cumberland. Wendy spent most of her life in Cumberland, having previously resided in Attleboro, Massachusetts.

Wendy dedicated many years of her professional life to working in the pharmaceutical industry, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.

Outside of work, Wendy found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed camping and spending time outdoors, as well as the quiet satisfaction of completing jigsaw puzzles and challenging herself with word puzzles. Above all, Wendy treasured the time she spent with her family. Whether sharing stories, enjoying time together, or simply being in the company of those she loved, family was always at the heart of what mattered most to her.

“

Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love and memories she leaves behind will remain in the hearts of her family and friends.

In addition to her loving parents, Roger and Kathleen Turgeon, Wendy leaves her cherished son, Matthew Woods of Attleboro, Massachusetts; her siblings, Darlene Dussault of Danielson, Connecticut, Karen Brandt of Pawtucket, and Michael Turgeon of Killingly, Connecticut. She also leaves several nieces and nephews who will remember her with love and affection.

Wendy will be remembered for the love she held for her family, her appreciation for life's quieter moments, and the memories she created with those closest to her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love and memories she leaves behind will remain in the hearts of her family and friends.

In accordance with Wendy's wishes, funeral services will be held privately.
