Walter S. Davis "Wally" 81- formerly of South Attleboro, MA passed away from a continued battle of Covid/pneumonia and succumbed to his illness. He was the son of Nora Jaques & Edward Davis of Cumberland, RI and stepson to Earl Jaques.

Walter was the beloved husband of "Edie Davis" to whom he was married for 60 years and proceeded in death by his brother William Davis. His surviving siblings include Shirley Machado, Kenneth Davis, Janice Rodriguez, Earl Jaques and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was the father of four wonderful daughters: Diane Hulme, Lorie Mederios, Cherie Davis and Nicole Seeley.  Grandfather to Makayla Davis, Terron Hulme, Nicholas Lessieur, Cameron Lessieur, Justice Seeley, Maverick Seeley and Levi Seeley.

He worked for many years as a cement finisher at Northeast Concrete in Plainville, MA until an industrial accident severed his legs and he became disabled in 1973. His hobbies included making bird houses, bird feeders and butterflies. He thoroughly enjoyed his woodworking skills and the joy it brought to others.

Walter was a US Army veteran and served three years in Germany in artillery as a corporal in the armed forces.

He will be sadly missed by his loving family and fur babies Tia Lily, Rocky and Tyson.

Visiting Hours will be held from 4pm-7pm on Monday July 3, 2023, in J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland, RI. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Attleboro Animal shelter in his honor.
