CUMBERLAND

Virginia A. Eberwein, 83, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the loving partner of Kenneth C. Graiko.

A resident of Cumberland for most of her life, Virginia was employed for many years by the former Liz Claiborne, Inc. She later worked for CVS Health in Woonsocket.

Virginia was a kind and compassionate woman whose faith remained an important and guiding part of her life. She enjoyed attending church and found great comfort and strength in her relationship with God. Always willing to help someone in need, Virginia will be remembered for her generous heart, caring spirit, and the kindness she extended to others. Above all, she treasured the time she shared with her family and those she loved.

In addition to her partner, Kenneth, she leaves her daughter, Heather Xavier of Cumberland; her son, Michael Golderesi of Providence; her brother, Thomas Rico; two beloved grandchildren; and two cherished great-grandchildren.

She was the loving mother of the late David Golderesi and the sister of the late AnnMarie Bonas.

At the request of Virginia’s family, her funeral services will be held privately.
