Timothy Fletcher Henshaw, 59, a longtime resident of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026.

Born in Marlborough, Massachusetts, Tim's childhood was spent between the landscapes of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Hawaii. As an adult, he made his home in Rhode Island, where he built a life defined by hard work and technical mastery.

An adept mechanic and a masterful problem solver, Tim dedicated over 40 years to the industrial mechanical field. He most recently held the role of Maintenance Supervisor for the Narragansett Bay Commission, a role where his commitment and expertise were deeply valued.
Tim was a man of simple tastes who found beauty in order; he kept his world organized and running smoothly. In his spare time, he was a true tinkerer who loved the precision of remote-controlled gadgets and the freedom of flying drones. He was an avid listener of classic rock and possessed a natural warmth that allowed him to make friends effortlessly wherever he went.

He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Rose Morin; his sister, Melissa Henshaw; and his love and partner, Roosiana Henshaw. He was preceded in death by his father, Reginald Henshaw; and his oldest sister Elizabeth King.

Though he is gone, his spirit remains in the music and the memories, reminding us that "to be a rock and not to roll" was the foundation of the man he was.

Family and friends are invited to Tim'sLife Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the J.J. Duffy Funeral Home i757 Mendon Road, Cumberland, RI. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home from 3:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
