Thomas (James)  Larivee, 35, of Woonsocket, formerly of Pawtucket passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket.  He was the beloved son of James Larivee of Burrillville and Jo-Ann (Skawinski) Larivee of Woonsocket; as well as his step-mother, Donna Larivee of Cumberland.  He also leaves his paternal grandparents Roger and Lucille Larivee of Cumberland, and his maternal grandmother, Joyce Skawinski and the late William Davies and the late John Skawinski Sr.

Thomas was a 2005 graduate of Tolman High School.

From a young age, Thomas showcased his exceptional athletic abilities, excelling in baseball. His dedication and talent on the field were awe-inspiring, making him a true standout among his peers. He lived and breathed New England sports, his heart filled with unwavering support for the Patriots and Red Sox.  Despite facing personal challenges, Thomas's character was never defined by his weaknesses or struggles. Above all, he cherished his family with an unwavering love and a fierce protective instinct.

In addition to his parents and grandparents, Thomas is survived by his siblings, Samantha Bernardo of Cumberland and Andrew Larivee of Woonsocket. He held a special place in his heart for his two nephews, Henry Hardiman and James Bernardo, and his two nieces, Lola Bernardo and Samantha Larivee; and his step-siblings Tim Casey, Amy Casey, Kelli Raymond, John McGrath.   His family was his anchor, and he shared countless cherished moments with his aunts, uncles, many nieces and nephews, and beloved cousins, that were truly his best friends.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Thomas's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on WEDNESDAY July 5, 2023 from 4 to 7 PM and continue on THURSDAY July 6, 2023 at 9 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM in the Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland.   Burial will be private.
