Silot
Boudsady
Apr 9, 1964 — Jul 14, 2025
North Attleboro
Silot "Si" Boudsady, 61, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was the devoted partner of Kingkeo Xayyapanya and the cherished heart of a blended, loving family.
Born in Sisaket, Thailand, Silot was the son of the late Somchit and Rarai Boonnoi. He spent his formative years in Sisaket, living there for 17 years before making the courageous journey to the United States in 1981—leaving behind his family, his homeland, and the world he had known in pursuit of opportunity.
During a time of transition and uncertainty, Silot found kinship with the Maddix family, who sponsored his education and welcomed him into their home in North Attleboro, MA. Though enrolled at North Attleborough High School, his unrelenting work ethic led him to earn his GED and pursue a lifelong career as an electrician.
For 40 years, Silot worked with pride and precision as a skilled electrician. But beyond his trade, he was a remarkable cook who brought people together around the table—a man whose true joy came from surrounding himself with family, friends, and anyone in need of a warm meal or a listening ear.
Twenty-four years ago, he returned to North Attleboro and purchased the very home where the Maddix family had once welcomed him. He carried forward their spirit of compassion, opening his doors to others and continuing their legacy of kindness. He also lived in Providence, RI, during earlier chapters of his life.
Silot leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience. He is survived by his partner, Kingkeo; his son, Anouluck Boudsady, and wife Jessica of North Attleboro, MA; his daughter, Jennifer (Sisouvong) Tweedie, and husband Cory of Chesapeake, VA; his stepdaughter, Arounthip (Xayyapanya) Mi, and husband Tuon of Providence, RI; and his stepson, Anousack Xayyapanya of Austin, TX. He was a proud grandfather to Carter Mi, Sean Mi, Benjamin Tweedie, and Addison Boudsady.
He is also survived by his siblings: Hongyon Boonnoi, Sayan Boonnoi, Jarungsri Boonnoi, Nuanphajong Thammasiri, Anchittha Yongchan, Chongkonlak Boonnoi, Chaiwat Boonnoi, Narongrit Boonnoi, and his late brother, Panupong Boonnoi of Thailand.
Additionally, he is survived by his brothers Robert Maddix and Christopher Maddix, both of Pawtucket, RI.
The family will be holding a gathering at their home following a traditional chanting ceremony on Thursday, July 17, and Friday, July 18. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 22, at 9:00 AM at J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland, RI.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the compassionate staff at Hope Health in Attleboro, whose care and kindness meant so much during Silot's final months.
