PASCOAG

Scott W. Coit, 62, of Pascoag, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024  at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was the husband of Cheryl Allard.

Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Ernest and Sylvia (Ouellette) Coit.  He resided in Pascoag for the past 8 years, previously residing in Lincoln.

Mr. Coit was employed as a carpenter in the construction industry for many years.

Scott enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and watching NASCAR.   He was a dedicated and passionate Boston Red Sox fan.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his son, Scott Coit Jr. of Connecticut, his brother Ernest Coit III and his wife Nancy of Pawtucket; as well as his niece, Corinne Latraverse and his nephew, Ernest F. Coit IV.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Scott's Life Celebration to be held Thursday, December 26, 2024 from 4 to 7 PM and continue on Friday, December 27, 2024 at 10 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.  A prayer service will be held at 11 AM.  Burial will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
