Sandra J. White, 77, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 in the Mt. Saint Rita Health Center, Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Irving L. White Jr.

Born in Boston, MA., she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Florence (Harding) Brown. Sandy resided in Cumberland for more than 20 years, previously residing in Pawtucket.

She was an avid gambler and enjoyed playing the slots. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

She was employed by the Grandview Nursing Home, Cumberland for 47 years until her retirement in 2016.

She is survived by her son Irving L. White III and his wife Cindy of Buford, GA. Her two sisters: Priscilla Earls of Foxborough, MA., and  Barbara Gibson of Fairhaven, MA. Her grandson Paul "Gavin" Adams of Pawtucket, along with several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Daniel White.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Sandy's Life Celebration to be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 9 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. A Prayer Service will be held at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
