CUMBERLAND

Ronald R.  Mailly, 79, of Cumberland, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Hope Health in Providence.   He was the husband of Carolina A.  (Carvalho) Mailly and they had been married for the past 57 years.

Born in Woonsocket,  he was the son of the late Raymond and Vivian  (Leclair) Mailly.  He resided in Cumberland for most of his life, previously residing in Lincoln.

Mr. Mailly was a union member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for over 40 years until his retirement.

Ron was a classic car enthusiast.  He also enjoyed bowling, fishing, and playing cards.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his two daughters, Lisa Pannone and Angela Mailly Garcia, both of Cumberland; his two sisters, Gloria Bowker of Smithfield and Patricia Wheaton of Scituate; his three grandchildren, Nikolas Pannone, Emily Pannone and Savannah Garcia Rae; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Ronald's Life Celebration to be held with Visitation on Monday, March 24, 2025 from 4 to 7 PM and continue on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 10 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Kidney Foundation.
