Rodney Berge, 81, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro. He was the husband of Mary Salvas. He was also the husband of the late Beatrice M. Berge.

Born in Long Island, NY, he resided in Norfolk, VA, for many years, later moving to New England and finally settling in Cumberland.

Mr. Berge was employed as a Mechanical Contractor, working for the former Eastern Bearings Company for over 40 years, retiring in 2017.

Those who loved him remember his strong work ethic and passion for running things.

In addition to his wife Mary, he leaves his brother, Noel Berge, of Colorado; his stepson, Robert Salvas, and family. He was the brother of the late Earl Berge and Normand Berge. He was the stepfather of the late Joseph Salvas.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Rodney's Life Celebration to be held with a Visitation on Friday, August 4, 2023, from 11 AM to 1 PM at J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A prayer service will be held at 1 PM. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
