CUMBERLAND

Robert J. Rivers, 58, of Cumberland passed away unexpectedly on April 15, 2023 at home. He was the husband of the late Diana (Mullen) Rivers.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Walter J. and Yolanda (Bucchianeri) Rivers. He resided in Cumberland for the past 35 years.

Mr. Rivers was the owner of Unicorn Cleaning Company in Cumberland for many years.

Robert was known as a hard worker who also enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his partner, Judi Beatty of Providence; his siblings, Joseph Rivers and his wife Cherie of Sharon, MA, Stephen Rivers of Halifax, MA, Elisa Mangano and her husband John of Mashpee, MA, Madelyn Cheetham of Attleboro, Andrea O'Toole and her husband Thomas of North Port, FL, and John Rivers of Attleboro; as well as sixteen nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held Monday, April 24, 2023 at Patrick's Pub, 381 Smith Street, Providence, RI from 4 to 7 PM.
