Robert E. LaFlamme Sr., 78, of Lincoln, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at the Miriam Hospital, Providence.  He was the husband of Linda (Eastwood) LaFlamme and they had been married for the past 15 years.

Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Victor A. and Cecile (Pruneau) LaFlamme.  He resided in Lincoln for the past 4 years, previously residing in New Hampshire, and North Smithfield.

He was a US Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.

He was an avid Red Sox, Patriots fan and fisherman. He also enjoyed completing crossword puzzles. Bob also enjoyed genealogy and a member of the AFGS - American French Genealogy Society, Woonsocket.

He was a 1963 graduate of Cumberland High School where he was an All-State Baseball and Football player.

He was an employee of the UPS for 32 years, retiring in 1997.

Alongside his wife, he is survived by his two sons: Robert E. LaFlamme Jr., and his wife Stephanie of Epsom, NH., and Bryan M. LaFlamme and his wife Alecia of Londonderry, NH. His ten siblings: Suzanne Roy of Cumberland, Gilbert LaFlamme of North Providence, Jacqueline Nievera of Windsor, NH., Norman LaFlamme of Cumberland, Diane Lemire of Seabrook, NH., Lorraine Faulkner, Michael LaFlamme, Anita Hero, Edgar LaFlamme, and Howard LaFlamme all of Cumberland. Six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Bob's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Sunday, October 22, 2023, from 4 PM to 7PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023, at 10 AM in the Summit Baptist Church, 1176 Victory Highway Coventry, RI 02816.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
