Rita Marie Viens, 103, formerly of Central Falls, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the Holiday Retirement Home, Manville.

Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Hector and Arzelia (Gagne) Viens. She resided in Central Falls for most of her life.

She was the sister of the late Joseph Maurice Viens, the late Mary Dora (Viens) Grenier, and the late Hector Viens, Jr. She is survived by her nieces and nephews Debra (Grenier) Anderson, Richard Grenier, Cecelia Cipriano, Pete Viens and Pauline Lynch. She leaves behind many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Rita's Life Celebration to be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10am in the St. Aidan Church, 1460 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, RI. A burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, 359 Daggett Ave., Pawtucket, RI.
