Rita T. Departhy, 96, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, in Mt. St. Rita Health Center, Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Amadeus J. Departhy.

Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Aurore Bruneau. Rita resided most of her life in Cumberland.

She is survived by her son: Henry P. Departhy and his wife Karen of Pawtucket, and her three daughters: Blanche M. Lawrence and her husband Jack of Cumberland, Doris R. Boucher, and Jeannette "Jan" T. D'Angelo and her husband David all of Smithfield. Six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Rita's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 8:30 AM to 10 AM, followed by a Prayer Service at 10 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. Burial will be private.
