Richard G. Leduc, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Linda M. (Bouthilette) Leduc. They have been married for the past 52 years.

Born in Burrillville, he was the son of the late Gerard and Violet (Faford) Leduc. He resided in Lincoln for the past 3 years, previously residing in Cumberland and North Smithfield.

Rich was an avid sports enthusiast who also found great joy in reading and traveling. His love for family, especially his wife, children, and grandchildren, was boundless. His greatest pride came from being surrounded by those he cherished most, finding immense joy in their presence and sharing in their lives. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and his unwavering affection for his family will forever remain a cherished part of his legacy.

He was employed as the department head for the Library for the Blind and Physically Disabled with the State of Rhode Island for 29 years, retiring in 1999. Throughout his career, he was dedicated to providing valuable resources and support to those in need.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children: Keith R. Leduc and his wife Sarah of Cumberland, and Sheri A. Godfrin and her husband Michael of Pascoag. He also leaves behind his brother, Russell Leduc of Burrillville, and his five cherished grandchildren: Zachary, Sarah, and Chase Leduc, and Andrew and Ashley Godfrin.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Rich's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 4 PM to 7 PM, and continuing on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 9 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM in the St. Aidan-St. Patrick Parish, 1460 Diamond Hill Road Cumberland. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Slaterville.
