Raymond J. "John" Patnaude, 78, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Hope Health, surrounded by the unwavering love of his family.  He was the husband of Michele M. (Fahey) Patnaude and they shared 58 years of marriage.

Born in Brighton, MA he was the son of the late Raymond Patnaude and the late Mary Frances (O'Neill) Patnaude. He made his home in Cumberland for the past 20 years, having previously lived in North Attleboro.

A proud 1965 graduate of Brookline High School, Mr. Patnaude went on to build a long and dedicated career as an electrician for many years retiring in 2018. His work ethic, reliability, and quiet skill earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike.

John found joy in woodworking, creating pieces that reflected both patience and craftsmanship. Yet nothing brought him greater happiness than time spent with his family—moments of laughter, conversation, and togetherness that meant everything to him.

He leaves behind his devoted wife; his daughter, Laurie Patnaude of Cumberland; his two sons, Dennis Patnaude of Cumberland and Daniel Patnaude of Weston; and his cherished grandchildren, Chloe Issa, Anna Saunders, Michael Patnaude, and Lindsay Patnaude. He is also survived by his brothers, Richard Patnaude and Robert Patnaude. He was predeceased by his sister, Denise Patnaude.

In accordance with his wishes, John's services will be private. Cremation will be entrusted to the care of J. J. Duffy Funeral Home.
