Raul C. Sequeira, 93, of Cumberland, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at HopeHealth in Providence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Maria Conceição Sequeira.

Born in Figueiró da Serra, Portugal, he was the son of the late Maximiano and Inácia Sequeira. He moved to this country in 1977, settling in Cumberland.

Mr. Sequeira worked many jobs throughout his life and retired from Hasbro, Inc., after many years.

Raul was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland. He enjoyed tending to his garden, taking walks around his neighborhood, and playing cards. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Those who knew him will remember his firm handshakes, warm smile, and willingness to help others.

He leaves his two sons, Aurélio S. Caetano and his wife, Donna, of Attleboro, and César S. Caetano and his wife, Fernanda, of São Paulo, Brazil; his three grandchildren, Maxmiano, Juliana, and Luciana; his great-grandson, Leonardo; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Agostinho, Isidro, and Rosária.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Raul's Life Celebration, which will include Visiting Hours on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland. Burial will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
