Phyllis A. (Wogan) Mahalaris, 77, of Danvers, previously Seabrook, NH, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at The Holiday Retirement Home, Manville.   She was the wife of the late John Mahalaris.

Born in Beverly, MA, she was the daughter of the late Philip A. and Betty (Guignet) Wogan.  She resided in Portland, ME for most of her life, also residing in Seabrook,NH.

Mrs. Mahalaris was employed as an elementary school teacher for various schools in New Hampshire and Maine until her retirement.

Phyllis enjoyed reading books, traveling, and was passionate about teaching children reading and writing.  She also loved her dogs and animals of all kinds.

She leaves her sons,  John Mahalaris and his wife Kelly of Cumberland, Daniel Mahalaris and his wife Jessica of Miami, FL; her grandchildren, Jack, Kirsten and Rachel Mahalaris; her siblings, Michael Wogan of Beverly, MA, Maureen Prusi of Bolton, CT, Cheryl Wogan of Tuscon, AZ, Siobhan Stevens of Sandown, NH, and Nancy Devlin and her husband Rory of Salisbury, MA; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral and burial will be private.
