CUMBERLAND

Philips Viveiros, 38, of Cumberland passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 4, 2025.  He was the husband of Karla (Portrillo) Viveiros.

Born in Providence, he was the son of Valquiria O'Brien and step-son of Daniel O'Brien.  He resided in Cumberland and Pawtucket for his entire life.

He was a self employed mechanic for many years.  He also was employed as a hotel engineer.

Philips enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and was always fixing and repairing things.

In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves his beloved daughter Hazell, his son Kaleb, his daughter Trinity; his sister Vanessa Viveiros of Cumberland; and his brother Elvis Viveiros of Cape Cod.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Philipps Life Celebration to be held with Visitation on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 5 to 8 PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.

A prayer service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11 AM in the Chapel at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
