Peter S. Bonner, 73, of Cumberland, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at home surrounded by the love of his family. He was the husband of Marilyn (Haworth) Bonner, and they had been married for the past 49 years.

Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Everett "Moe" and Margaret "Peg" (Carr) Bonner. He was a lifelong resident of Cumberland.

Mr. Bonner was employed as a Customer Service Representative for Albert Basse Associates in Stoughton, MA, for 20 years.

Peter enjoyed fishing, watching horse races, listening to music, and had a passion for cooking. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and his two cats, Julian and Petunia. He was a dedicated New England Patriots and New York Yankees fan.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his daughter, Melissa Smith and J.R. Smith, of Hopedale, and his son, Jonathan Bonner of Cumberland; his siblings, Paul Bonner and his wife, Ann Marie, David Bonner, Michael Bonner and his wife, Eleanor, Stephen Bonner and his wife, Kathy, Timothy Bonner and his wife, Linda, Christopher Bonner and his wife, Susan, Susan Prato, Brian Bonner, Philip Bonner and his wife, Joyce, John Bonner and his wife, Peg, Robert Bonner and his wife, Brenda, and Peggy Bonner-Zekus; his two grandchildren, Brady Smith and Kayla Smith; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Peter's Life Celebration, with Visiting Hours on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 4 to 8 PM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.

A funeral service will be held privately.
