Pauline R. Montminy, 90, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, at The Holiday Retirement Home, Manville. She was the wife of the late Leo P. Montminy.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Eva (Plante) Moreau. She resided in Cumberland for much of her life.

She was a communicant of St. John Vianney Church, Cumberland.
Pauline enjoyed cooking, knitting and stained-glass artwork.

She attained a degree from Bryant College, Smithfield, RI and was employed at the Pentagon, in Washington. She was also a licensed real estate broker for nearly 10 years in Connecticut. With her husband, they operated a stained-glass business for many years.

She is survived by her children: Jeanne M. Pickett and her husband Robert of Lincoln, Arthur L. Montminy and his wife Denise of Douglas, MA.; Rochelle M. Ray and her husband Nathan of Cumberland; and Uxbridge Police Chief Marc L. Montminy and his wife Susan of Cumberland. Her five grandchildren:  Lauren; Nicole; Ryan; Heather; and Carolyn; and eight great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Irene Gendreau, Henry Moreau, Raymond Moreau, and Helene Duehring.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Pauline's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Monday, June 26, 2023, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM in the St. John Vianney Church, 3609 Diamond Hill Road Cumberland, RI. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, RI.
