Obituary

Pauline Gravel Desjarlais passed away peacefully after a brief illness on October 1, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Born on September 20, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Rose Amy and Henri Gravel.

Pauline loved her children fiercely and was her happiest when she was surrounded by them, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pauline worked at PEI in Milford Ma for more than 40 years as a quality control inspector. When she decided to retire at age 82, they begged her to stay as she was their most productive team member and had trained many staffers, which was a great source of pride for her.

She is predeceased by her long-time companion, Frank Pecsi, her sister Muriel Masse and brother Henri Gravel.

She is survived by her sister Madeleine Gagnon of Warwick, RI and brother Wilfred Gravel of Tyler, TX. She also leaves behind a son, Normand Desjarlais and his family, her devoted daughters Paulette Boiteau and husband Denis, and Kellie Jensen and husband Christopher, as well as her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She loved Halloween; enjoyed listening and dancing to old-time rock and roll; visiting casinos in RI and CT; visiting her granddaughter in Nashville; and times spent at the beach.

Pauline will long be remembered for her sense of humor and distinct laugh; her generosity and her strong work ethic; and her readiness to have a good time, but mostly for her dedication to and love for her family.

Services will be private at the request of her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of J. J. Duffy
