MANVILLE

Paul A. Schaffer, 90, of Manville, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at The Holiday Retirement Home in Manville. He was the husband of the late Ann M. (Gallagher) Schaffer.

Born in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Robert and Jane (McElroy) Schaffer. He resided in Manville for most of his life, previously residing in Cumberland.

Mr. Schaffer was a proud United States Army Veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict, attaining the rank of Corporal, and was honorably discharged after his faithful service to our country.

Paul was an avid bowler, and was a member at the East Providence and Walnut Hill Bowling Leauges.

He was employed for over 19 years by Nyman Manufacturing Company of East Providence.

He leaves behind his three daughters, Patricia Briggs of Minnesota City, MN, Deborah Schaffer of Cumberland, and Paula M. Schaffer of Manville, he also leaves three grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

His funeral and burial will be  private.
