Paul M. Keenan, 82, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Nancy A. (Corrigan) Keenan.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Paul J. and Annette (Dery) Keenan.

He was an avid New York Yankee fan and enjoy playing softball. Paul and his wife were also longtime Providence Friars basketball fans and season ticket holders.

He was a Pawtucket Firefighter for 25 years, retiring in 1991 and was also formerly a security driver for BRINKS Inc., and also previously employed by Woman & Infants Hospital as a hospice van driver for many years.

Paul was a member of the Pawtucket Firefighters IAFF Local 1261.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Kevin Keenan and his girlfriend Aimee Accinno of Lincoln, Kara LaRose and her husband Don of Burrillville, Keith Keenan of Pawtucket, and Kim Keenan and her husband Joe Janeiro of Cumberland. His sister, Nancy Keenan and her wife Carol of St. Petersburg, FL., his eight grandchildren: Justin Keenan, Michael Davis, Kayli Cartier (Alex) Darien Viera, Jesse DeMendonca, Ella Integlia-Keenan, Averi Integlia-Keenan and Haley LaRose. Four great-grandchildren: Jaiden Keenan, Jahzel Keenan, Ava Davis, and Nova Keenan along with several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late James "Jimmy" Keenan, John Keenan, and Patricia Keenan.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Paul's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 5 PM to 8 PM and continuing at 9:30 AM on Friday, June 6, 2025, in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. A Prayer Service will be held at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
