LINCOLN

Patricia H. "Pat" Bruno, 85, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late James P.
Bruno Jr., with whom she shared over 60 years marriage.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island on October 7, 1940, she was the daughter of the late J. Edward Hitchen and Marian
W. (Whipple) Hitchen.  She resided in Lincoln for the past 62 years, previously residing in Pawtucket.

Pat worked for many years at Health Tex, where she dedicated over 20 years of service.

She truly enjoyed life and embraced every opportunity to travel. Alongside her late husband, she attended NHRA car shows throughout the East Coast, spent winters in Florida, and enjoyed many cruises. She also traveled abroad to Ireland and the United Kingdom.  A talented and creative individual, Pat was a member of the Embroiderers Guild and found joy in crafting, knitting, and cross-stitching. She was also a wonderful baker who delighted family and friends with her homemade treats.

Above all, Pat was a devoted and loving grandmother who cherished time spent caring for her two grandsons. She was a loyal friend, easy to talk to, and always carried a warm and pleasant disposition.

She is survived by her children, James "Jay" Bruno of Lincoln, David Bruno of Lincoln, and Pamela Morin and her husband Jeremy of Lincoln; her two grandchildren, Kyle and Jake Morin; her brother, Dr. James E. Hitchen and his wife Ann of Portsmouth; and many extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Patricia's Life Celebration to be held with Visitation on Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 9 to 11 AM in the J. J Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland, RI.   Burial will be private.
