Patricia A. "Patsy" Bodell, 85, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024. She was the wife of the late Lionel B. Bodell.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James V. and Helen (O'Keefe) O'Connor

Patsy was very proud of her Irish heritage and enjoyed her summer vacations in Narragansett where she spent time with her close friends and family.

She worked for Sears, Roebuck and Co., for many years before retiring. Previously working for Narragansett Electric.

She is survived by her children: Brian Bodell of Pawtucket and Gregory Bodell of Cumberland; one daughter, Kerri Waldon of Jensen Beach, FL. Her grandchildren: Erin and Shannon Bodell, Tyler, Zoe Waldon and Shea Barrie. four great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late James O'Connor and Maureen Lynch.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Patsy's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Monday, April 1, 2024 from 9 AM to 10:30 AM followed by a Prayer Service at 10:30 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. Burial will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Hope Hospice, 1085 North Main Street Providence, RI 02904.
