Cumberland,

Patricia Silva Antunes, 93, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023, in the Philip Hulitar Hope Hospice & Palliative Care Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Joseph D. Antunes and Anthony Silva.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Herminia (Mendonca) Dos Santos. She was a lifelong resident of Cumberland.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cumberland, and also a member of the Cumberland Senior Center.

Pat loved to knit, crochet, and play bingo. Cooking was her passion, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was employed as a secretary for the Cumberland Public School System for 24 years, retiring in 1990 and previously employed by the Sidney Blumenthal-Burlington Industries Co., for 9 years.

She is survived by her children: Suzanne P. Tellier and her husband Paul, Anthony J. Silva and his wife Linda, and Philip M. Silva and his wife Dorinda all of Cumberland. Her step-children: Richard Antunes and his wife Sharon of East Providence, Michael Antunes of Cumberland, Daniel Antunes and his wife Judy of Indiana, Rosanne Neri of Lincoln, and Aurora Pincince and her husband Rene of Charlestown. 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late: Lewis Soares, Frank Santos, Beatrice Figueiredo, and Antonio Santos.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Pat's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 3 PM to 6 PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland, and continuing on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 9 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Drive Cumberland. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
