Pasquale "Pat" F. Amantea, 82, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Elizabeth (Gallo) Amantea. He resided in Cumberland for the past 10 years, previously residing in Sebastian, FL for many years.

He was a US Army Veteran, serving during the Cuban Missle Crisis.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Danielson, CT.  Pat as he was affectionately known, enjoyed reading and his daily walks.  Those who love him will remember him as a kind-hearted soul.

He is survived by his two brothers: Phil Amantea of Providence, and Anthony Amantea and his wife Ann-Marie of North Smithfield,  along with his nephew, Tony Amantea, his two nieces, Stephanie Bergen and Michele Amantea; as well as his two great-nieces, and a great-nephew.  In addition he leaves his four step-sons, Christopher Burden, Keith Burden, Gregory Burden and Daniel Burden; and many step-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Pat's Life Celebration to be held with a Prayer Service on Monday, July 10th at 10:00 AM in the RI Veteran Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail Exeter.

Arrangements are made under the direction of J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland, RI, 02864.
