CUMBERLAND
Nora M. (Grimley) Renquin, 92, of Cumberland, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the John Clarke Senior Living Center, Middletown. She was the wife of the late Lawrence M. Renquin.
Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Katherine (Walker) Grimley. She resided in Cumberland for most of her life.
Mrs. Renquin dedicated her life to the care of her family. She previously worked for a time at Carroll Cable Inc.
Nora was a communicant of St. Aidan-St. Patrick Church, Cumberland. She was a member of the St. Aidan Seniors and the St. Aidan's Women's Group. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, visiting museums throughout New England, and was a talented seamstress.
She leaves her daughter, Lisa R. Maine and her husband David of Warwick; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward Grimley, Kathryn Pelkey, Mary Cullion and Helen Mandeville. Nora was predeceased by her sons Anthony and Christopher.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Nora's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 4 to 7 PM and continue on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 9:30 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM in the St. Aidan-St. Patrick Parish, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
Nora's family would like to thank Hope Hospice and John Clarke Senior Living staff for their compassionate and loving care of their mom. "The staff are truly angels!"
