Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Nancy Guimond passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the age of 67. She resided in Thonotosassa, FL and was originally from Pawtucket, RI, but Nancy lived across the country throughout her life including Oregon, Arizona, Alabama, and Connecticut. Her loss is felt deeply by every life she has touched.

Nancy will be remembered for her passionate fiery spirit and incredible heart by her husband Paul Guimond Sr, children Kellie and Michael Gorman, stepchildren Brenda and Paul Guimond, mother Dorothy Crowell, sister Donna Berard, brothers Daniel (Trina) Crowell and Robert (Deborah) Crowell, and an extended family too numerous to name.

She was predeceased by her father Lawrence Crowell, son Mark, and brother-in-law Donald Berard.

Throughout her life Nancy followed her passions and fought for her family with a fierce tenacity. In Paul she found a true soul mate as they traveled the country as dedicated trainers for their greyhounds. They were partners building together a life of adventure and cherished memories. She poured her heart and soul into the care, training, and well-being of their greyhounds. Her expertise and unwavering commitment to her work earned her respect within the greyhound community and left an indelible mark on the sport she loved.

If you were lucky enough to know Nancy, you know that her care for all extended well beyond her love for Paul, her children and her animals. She spent every day of her life offering care to those around her in need. To say she will be deeply missed is an understatement.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Nancy's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on Wednesday, May 31st from 4pm to 7pm at J. J. Duffy Funeral Home in Cumberland. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 1st at 10am at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
