Michael R. Marley, 73, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, in the Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Judith A. (Taylor) Marley. They have been married for the past 49 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of Raymond and Margaret (Coyle) Marley. Mike has been a resident of Cumberland for the past 45 years, previously residing in Pawtucket.

Michael will be remembered for his love of Jimi Hendrix and classic rock. He was a lifelong New York Yankees fan. He was an avid dog lover. After retiring, he spent his spare time training dogs, in tribute to his beloved Labradoodle "Ozzie".

After earning his bachelor's degree, Michael worked in manufacturing for many years before moving into human resources.

He is survived by his beloved wife and his son Jason R. Marley and his wife Gina Lachacz of Florence, SC.

Services were private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were under the direction of the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland, RI.
