PAWUCKET

Michael  Amaral, 59, of Lincoln and formerly Pawtucket, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence.  He was the husband of the late Sharon Amaral.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Henry and June Mary (Correira) Amaral.  He resided in Lincoln for the past seven years, previously residing in Pawtucket.

Michael enjoyed bowling, fishing, visiting the YMCA and spending time with loved ones at family gatherings.  Michael leaves behind his LifeConnections family, friends, team members, caretaker Napoleon, and his dog Princess. Michael enjoyed participating in bowling, bingo and arts and crafts. He was also a big wrestling fan. Michael will be greatly missed. He enjoyed a close relationship with his nephew Joshua.

He leaves his sister, Sandra Colicci and her husband Michael of Chepchet, his brother, Henry Amaral III and his wife Susanne of Greenville;  as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 11 AM in the Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland.
