Mary treasured the people in her life.

Mary L. (Sandora) St. Germain, 81, of Johnston, formerly of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Holiday Retirement Home in Lincoln. She was the beloved wife of Richard Albert St. Germain, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage and a lifetime of cherished memories.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late George and Victoria (Skowitz) Sandora. Mary made Johnston her home for more than 45 years, having previously resided in North Providence.

Mary was employed for many years by BJ’s Wholesale Club in Johnston. Earlier in her career, she worked for the former North Safety Equipment in Cranston.

Above all, Mary treasured the people in her life. She enjoyed traveling to Florida to spend time with family and always looked forward to the opportunity to be together with those she loved. Mary possessed a warm and welcoming nature that drew people to her. She had a remarkable ability to make others feel comfortable, cared for, and valued, and she was loved by nearly everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Those who knew Mary will remember her devotion to her family and friends, her kind heart, and the genuine affection she showed to those around her. The relationships she built throughout her life were among her greatest treasures, and the love she gave so freely will remain with her family for years to come.

In addition to her husband, Richard, she leaves her son, Richard M. St. Germain of Cumberland; her granddaughter, Meagan St. Germain of Cape Cod; and her sister, June Panettieri of Florida; her brothers George Sandoro and Peter Sandoro, both of Florida; as well as many half-sisters, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Mary’s Life Celebration to be held with Visitation on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 2 to 5 PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.
