Mary E. Lefebvre, 63, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the Miriam Hospital in Providence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Larry G. Lefebvre, with whom she shared 41 wonderful years of marriage.

Born in Pawtucket, Mary was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred (Haskell) Ryfa. She had lived in Cumberland for the past 41 years, having previously resided in Pawtucket.

An avid skier, Mary loved exploring the mountains of New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. She and her husband enjoyed traveling together, creating cherished memories in Florida, North Carolina, St. Thomas, Mexico, and Canada, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and her many friends.

Mary worked at Cox Communications Business Services for 26 years before retiring in April of this year.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Kaitlyn Lefebvre of Cumberland; her four brothers: Joseph Ryfa and his wife Theresa of Johnston, Michael Ryfa and his wife Laura Lee of Boynton Beach, FL, David Ryfa of West Warwick, and Erik Ryfa and his wife Paula of Cumberland, her sister-in-law Robin Ryfa of Lincoln along with several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Danny Ryfa.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Mary's Life Celebration to begin with visiting hours on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 4 PM to 7 PM. A prayer service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 11 AM at J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will be private.
