PLAINVILLE, MA

Mary E. (Powell) Gagnon, 91, formerly of Plainville, MA passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of the late Girard A. Gagnon with whom she shared sixty years of marriage.

Born in Saylesville, RI, she was the daughter of the late August and Evelyn (Cotton) Powell.  She resided in Cumberland for the past six years, previously residing in North Attleboro and Plainville for most of her life.

Mary enjoyed working around her house and gardens but most of all loved spending time with her family.

She leaves her children, Stephen G. Gagnon and his wife Lorena of Centerville, MA, Donna L. Grassi and her husband Alan of Blackstone, MA and Mary J. Mayer and her husband Jeffrey of Cumberland; her nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late Kenneth Powell.

She will be forever loved and greatly missed.

Her funeral and burial will be private.
