CUMBERLAND

Mary Louise Dunn, 79, of Cumberland passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Mt. St. Rita Health Centre, Cumberland.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James T. and Dorothy (Foster) Dunn.  She resided in Cumberland for most of her life.

She was a Graduate of Rhode Island College receiving her Bachelor Degree.

Ms. Dunn was employed as a Teacher  at Hope High School for the Providence School Deparment for 30 years until her retirement. In retirement, Mary was a private reading tutor.

She leaves her two sisters, Dorothy Yaz of Framingham, MA and Virginia Buss of Cumberland; her brother, James Dunn of California; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Mary's Life Celebration to be held on Friday, August 4, 2023  with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in the Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland.  Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
