Mary A. (Johnson) Creamer, 98, formerly of Warwick, passed away on January 15, 2026 at Briarcliffe Manor in Johnston.   She was the wife of the late John A. Creamer and the late Roland E. Sylven.

Born in Springfield, MA she was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Surprenant) Johnson.   She resided in Warwick for most of her life.

Mrs. Creamer was employed as a Vice President for the Citizens Bank for many years until her retirement.

She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, as well as spending time with her family.

She leaves her children, Steven E. Sylven of  Cumberland, Karen A. Davis of Las Vegas, NV, Kristine S. Sylven of Warwick; her nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was the mother of the late Lenore A. Montanaro.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Mary's Life Celebration to be held with a graveside service on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 11 AM in the Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Rhode Island Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave, Providence, RI 02907.
