Mark E. Elliott, 73, of Cumberland passed away unexpectedly at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence after a twenty year struggle with Multiple Myeloma. He was the father of Matthew Elliott of Blackstone, MA.

Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Raymond and Maureen T. (Varnam) Elliott. He resided in Cumberland for most of his life, previously residing in Providence.

Mr. Elliott was employed as a Draftsman and Designer for the former Crystal Craft Inc for many years and was most recently employed by Hasbro Inc.

Mark had a passion for music and was even a member of the band 'Alec K. Redfearn & The Eyesores.' He had so many varied interests, talented writer and storyteller. He was a true renaissance man. His passion for music led him to the Woodstock Festival in 1969. Mark had many friends, and made friends easily from all over the world.

In addition to his son, he leaves his brother Varnam P. Elliott and his wife Elaine of Cumberland; as well as several nieces and nephews, also his former wife, Patricia Elliott. He was the brother of the late Craig J. Elliott, who also passed away in March.

His funeral and burial will be private.
