PAWTUCKET
ROQUE, Maria D. (Vinagre), 77, of Pawtucket, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Hope Health in Providence. She was the beloved mother of Deanna Roque of Pawtucket, and Ines Roque of Cumberland.

Born in Valhelhas, Guarda, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Augusta and Francisco Vinagre. Moved to this country in December 1968, settling in Pawtucket.

Mrs. Roque was employed as a textile factory worker at various area textile mills in the Pawtucket area for many years until her retirement.

She enjoyed cooking for her family, knitting and crocheting, but most of all loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her daughters, she leaves her five granchildren, Daniela, Bea, Marissa, Clarissa and Alyssa; her siblings, Eduardo, Ceu, Gabriela, Zezita, Anita and Jose. She was the sister of the late Joao, Manuel, Guilherme and Aida.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Maria's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on Wendesday, June 15, 2022 from 5 to 8 PM. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 PM.
