Marguerite Nicolo, 97, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 in RI Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of Carmine Nicolo Jr. They have been married for the past 74 years.

Born in North Troy, VT., she was the daughter of the late Ulysses and Alice (Lemay) Fournier. Marguerite resided in Cumberland for the past 69 years, previously residing in Pawtucket, and Canada.

She was a communicant of St. Joan of Arc Church, Cumberland for the past 69 years.

Along side her husband, she is survived by her three children: Nancy Nicolo of Merrimack, NH., Sandra Muench and her husband David of Centreville, VA., and Robert Nicolo and his wife Rickie of Gainesville, VA. Her three grandchildren: Jason Nicolo, Kyle Nicolo, and Andrew Muench, one great-grandchild, Gabrielle Nicolo along with several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Cecile Letendre.

Marguerite's funeral will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland.
