North Providence,

Margaret Cicerchia, 78, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at home.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Michaelangelo and Margaret (Geremia) Cicerchia. She has resided in Warwick for the past 23 years, previously residing in North Providence.

Margie loved the ocean, music, reading and the simple things in life. She loved having Sunday dinners with her family. Margie also looked forward to meeting with her cousins at Panera on Sunday mornings. She loved celebrating the holidays and her favorite holiday was Christmas. Margie always lit up a room. She had a child like spirit full of light and love. Margie had a deep love for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

She was a CNA and mental health worker for the State of Rhode Island for more than 30 years, until her retirement.

She is survived by her children: Stephen Cicerchia and his wife Linan of Kingston, and Lyssa Barbery of Warwick. Her five grandchildren: Thomas, Noah, Alfred, Joseph, and Krystina. Her six great-grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was the sister of the late Norma Mastroianni and Jeane Phyllis Desrosiers. Beloved cousin, Joyce Monaco, with her husband, Alfred Monaco. And lifelong friends Carole Berlin and Martine Beaumier.

Margaret's Life Celebration will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
