Louise (Baron) Monroe, 80, of Cumberland, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in the Friendly Home, Woonsocket. She was the lifelong friend and spouse of the late Walter J. Kent Jr. and mother of Jordan P. Monroe of New York, and Melanie K. Depointe of Cumberland and two grandchildren; Brandon J. Langlois, and Auden L. Depointe. One sister Christina Broughton and her husband Stafford along with two nieces and one nephew.

Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Viateur and Alice (Machowski) Baron. She was a lifelong resident of Cumberland.

She was self employed as a title examiner, working for various real estate law firms in the area.

She found joy in the simple rhythms of life, cherishing moments spent with her grandson and family, where laughter and love fill the air. When not surrounded by loved ones, she devotes her energy to caring for her property, tending to it with pride and dedication, ensuring it remains a welcoming and well-kept place for all who visit.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
